Welcome to the website of The Congregational Church of Huntington, United Church of Christ. Here you will learn of the many ways that we seek to be one with God, with nature, and with others. You can see the many mission projects our church is involved in, listen to my sermons, and discover programs for all ages. What I hope will become evident as you explore this site is that what makes our church special is not the programs or theology, but the people. I love our church because of the dedicated and compassionate group of people who make up this congregation. I know I am biased, but this is the most interesting and caring group of people I have had the honor to know.
The members of our church are here because they want to be part of a church that makes real their love of God and of all their neighbors. Our Open and Affirming mission lets everyone know we are welcoming, and this leads to a diverse and interesting group of members. These are people who appreciate the diverse and high-quality music we have in worship, who want to hear sermons that are inspiring and challenging, and who wish to live out
