Children & Youth

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

In Church School, we help our children build a solid foundation of faith as we teach essential Bible stories and lessons, foster meaningful connections between their Christian faith and their daily lives, and provide opportunities for service and giving back to their congregation, community, country, and world.

Sunday Mornings

10am - 11am

During the school year, our children start Sunday worship in the sanctuary with their families and leave right after the "Time with Children" portion of the service to go to their church school classes.  On holiday weekends and during the summer, children are invited to return to their seats and remain in the sanctuary for the remainder of the service.  We provide coloring materials in the back of the sanctuary, if desired, as well as the use of the "Angel's Nest" for families with young children.

Angel's Nest

For our littlest ones, our Church School office's "Angel's Nest" is open during the service (including through the summer). We invite families to stay in the service, but anyone who wants to take a break can bring their little ones to Angel's Nest for a bit.  We have created a space that ensures that parents won't miss any of the worship service.

Our Church School office has comfortable bean bags, numerous age-appropriate Bible-related books, games, toys, and puzzles for the children, as well as comfy chairs for parents and a wall monitor set up so parents can watch the service while their little ones play.

It is important to note that if any family uses the Church School office "Angel's Nest" space, a parent must be in the office with their children at all times and not leave them unsupervised.
