On Maundy Thursday we commemorate Jesus’ last supper and his arrest. By
remembering the promise of the meal and the pain of the arrest we prepare
ourselves to celebrate Easter. The service includes communion and the Tenebrae,
a traditional reading of the final events of Jesus’ life with the extinguishing
of candles.
We hope you can join us. And, please share this email with your friends.

Call to Worship
Prayer of Invocation
Ever gracious God, we gather this evening hour as friends gathered with Jesus
in an upper room long ago. We gather from anonymous places, with dry and
thirsty spirits. Remind us in the breaking of the bread of our need and of your
sufficiency. Refresh us and make us whole with the cup of forgiveness. Draw us
nearer to each other in mutual service and closer to you in the covenant of
faithfulness and thanksgiving. Amen.
Sacrament of Holy
Communion
(Before the service begins please arrange please arrange a piece of bread to
break and a cup with juice. We will share communion virtually in our own
homes.)
