Joys and Concerns

With great joy we offer our gratitude that Terrence Sheldon's treatments have been successful and the pain in his foot has ended.

We are saddened to share the news of the death of Alex Korenevski, facilities manager at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs church. Many of our members know Alex because of his assistance with the HIHI program and other activities. OLQM has setup a fund to benefit Alex's wife, Larisa, and daughter, Angelica. Donations can be mailed to 'The Alex Fund', C/O OLQM, 53 Prospect Road, Centerport, NY 11721. Checks can be made payable to 'Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church' with 'Alex Fund' in the memo.

2019 Pledge Drive

Thank you to everyone who has submitted their 2019 pledge. A pledge is an estimate of what you will give to the church for the coming year. It is both an important spiritual practice to make a commitment to generosity, and it is an essential piece of information for our Trustees to make a budget for next year.

So far we have collected 46 pledges, out of a goal of 75. Our deadline was this past Sunday and we have a long way to go. Send in our drop off your pledge card. Or go on-line and set-up a recurring electronic pledge donation. You may may also email your pledge to our financial secretary, Marion Munch.
