Christmas Wish List

I hope you have completed your Christmas wish list. I still haven’t seen too many for my own family (nor have they seen mine). I do, though, have a wish list for the church. We have many opportunities to give to people in need this Christmas season. Here is the list:

· Adopt a Family: We have adopted a family for Christmas. Led by the youth ministry we will be providing the complete Christmas for a family in Huntington. Brian Ascetta is coordinating the presents. As of now we have a few presents yet to buy, as well as food for meals during the school vacation. One special request is for Children’s bicycles. We are forming groups of members to buy these together. Let Brian know if you want to help.

· HIHI Overnight and lunch making: We are responsible for the volunteers this Saturday night. As of this time we need one overnight chaperone and someone to help from 7:30-10:00 PM. Call Anne Canadeo to volunteer. Lunch making continues on Monday nights.

· Christmas Offering: We will be collecting a special offering at Christmas that will be split between our lunch making program, the Huntington Community Food Council, and Veterans of the Cross (a program of the UCC to supplement the pensions of ministers in need),

Thanks for all you can do.
